Meet Anne

Bonjour! My name is Anne, and I’m passionate about helping people learn French. As a native French speaker living in France, I bring authentic language experiences to my students through one-to-one personalized lessons.

I have been teaching French online via Skype, Zoom and Google Meet for over 20 years, after having taught French at universities in England and Japan. I hold an MA, a DEA, and a DESS (MPhil in England, MDA in the United States) in French and Communications from the University of Paris III, la Sorbonne Nouvelle, and Paris II, Panthéon-Assas.

As someone who has studied several languages (English, Spanish, Japanese) in addition to my native French, I understand the challenges of learning a foreign language.

With years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of French culture, I am dedicated to making learning French enjoyable and effective.

I live in the South of France, near Montpellier. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring the beautiful French countryside, savoring delicious food, visiting charming villages and historic cities, and learning about the architecture of historic monuments, castles, cathedrals, and abbeys. I also love hiking and kayaking, and I am particularly fond of stopping in the middle of nature for a picnic with a gastronomic touch.
